Red face Back to basics :-)

I'm probably asking a stupid question here, sorry in advance!

I had severe PE in January 08 and gave birth to DD at 31 weeks via emerg c/s. I'm pregnant with number 2 and was wondering if another c/s or a vbac would be recommended from medical staff?

Are there circumstances where a VBAC is not recommended, and a c/s is the preffered method of delivery? Is there a period of time that must lapse inbetween a c/s and VBAC?

    Thanks ladies!

Usually they say 18 months between births is a comfortable time frame

I'm not sure about the circumstances - all I know that anything requiring inducing - means c-section basically

Shouldn't be a problem, especially as getting PE is less likely with following pregnancies. Depends on your local hospital policy but the fact that C/S was not related to labour makes chances for successful VBAC even better.
