Hey All
My MIL just bought a pram, it's a three wheel Fisher Price thing, and it looks pretty darn snazzy.
I'm pretty sure i've heard some bad reviews about them and i'm just wondering what you guys think of them...
Wow thats a very generous gift, good for you!
The only thing I have read is that the 3 wheelers can tip over easier. But to be honest you just have to walk through the shops these days and see how many are out there and if you spot some one with the one you have then ask them what they think. Most people are happy to share. That is what I did. I have a 4 wheeler though.
I got myself a Jeep 3 Wheeler from Big W, pick it up this week sometime...will be my first go at a 3 wheeler, so hopefully can give some positive feedback. I had a 4 wheeler but found it hard to maneuver when bub was facing me...
Did MIL buy it for you? I haven't heard about reviews of the Fisher Price thing but I know there is a website called Product Reviews Australia if you want to go onto that. We have a Mountain Buggy Urban. Just brilliant.
Nope haven't heard anything about the fisher price one. It does have a car capsule attachment though, if you're into that.
I have a three wheeler (used to run with mine) and I found it great. Never appeared as if it would tip, as long as you aren't silly with it.
Some are a bit tight for small shops/checkouts so that's a bit of a buggar.
I have the Fisher Price 3 wheeler. I quite like it!! We got the capsule that goes with it for this bub too. I like the colour scheme as it doesn't show too much dirt. The only issue I have is that to fold it down properly and clip it the back pocket has to be empty and the brakes have to be on, either that or you can undo the velcro on the back panel that has the pocket and lay that over the seat. I keep a spare nappy in the pocket so I like to put it over the seat. It is a much better pram than the 1st 3 wheeler I had. It is also much easier to lock the front wheel than many that I have seen. DH runs with it sometimes when Em wakes up early enough for his morning run on weekends.
