    Question Rainforest theme for Nursery....

    Hi,

I'm in need of some help. I desperately wanna do the Fisher Price Rainforest theme as my DS nursery. There is limited as to what I can do, as we rent, but I have a bookcase and wardrobe which I can paint, and need ideas as to how to paint them, ie one colour, or paint pictures on it etc. As well as what colour to paint it, lol.

I mainly want to stick with the actual rainforest character animals from the range, and was thinking of printing off some pics of them and then drawing them on the wardrobe and painting etc. Though it's hard to find a big enough pic to print off.

I have found on the US Ebay that they sell the actual FP Rainforest wall stickers, though of course you can't get them here in Australia, and I don't really wanna pay double for them by getting them from the US.

I so far have the jumperoo, bouncer and bath. I am going to get the cradle swing, linen, playmat and mobile. Though probably only the linen and mobile will be in the room.

Has anyone done this theme and have any ideas? Or does anyone just have any ideas, as to where to start?

can you get the stickers from ebay at all?
what if you just painted the shelves a couple of the different greens that they use?

Our baby's nursery has turned into the Rainforest theme and we never even planned on it! We are so happy with it. Painted the wall spring green colour (unisex) and have the rainforest mobile hanging over the cot and a few wall stickers and we have our rainforest jungle theme.... cute.

If you have some small potted palms or other 'rainforesty' kind of plants you could put them in front of your wardrobe with a light behind them. Trace the outline of shadows and then move the plant and repeat. Once you have traced as many as you want you can then fill in all the shadow outlines with paint. It's an easy way of painting a jungle.
