    Question Coffee Alternative?

    Hi,

Can anyone advise a good alternative to drinking coffee? I usually only have one or two a day. Is green tea good when preg? Something that tastes good, keeps me awake and is good for the baby would be good LOL, is there such a drink???

    Thanks

Have you thought about drinking decaf? There is still a little bit of caffeine but if you are only drinking 1 -2 a day it's fine. Green tea is also fine if you only have a few cups and it's better for you than coffee! I also like hot milo instead of coffee sometimes, and in summer Iced Tea. I

Try to avoid decaf unless it is filtered by water. Best bet is buying it from a coffee shop. Gloria Jeans has good decaf.
There is a tea called Rooibos, it is south african and is caffeine free. Not sure it will keep you awake, but is' nice and good for you!
I have a coffee every second day or so, don't worry too much if you have a little caffeine. There are also coffee alternatives such as dandelion tea. Check the ingredients first, but you can find them in the coffee section of the supermarket.
Green tea has a fair bit of caffeine too, but one or two a day is still within with recommended limit. Make it weak as well, and it will be fine. xo

    Have an apple

Apples are the best, natural alternative to give you the pick me up you are after. No artificial stimulants

Hey there! As someone mentioned you can get dandelion tea. Otherwise peppermint tea is the go. Peppermint is a natural upper and doesn't have any caffeine in it. Otherwise get some strong mints and have one in the morning instead of coffee. I use minties as I won't gorge on them. lol.

I have a coffee grinder and have finally found swiss water decaffeinated coffee beans at Coles. They are really nice, with minimal caffeine.

    Tea

Tea made from the dandelion root is caffeine free and also cleanses your liver at the same time! My partner drinks this and I buy it from Woolies. It tastes like a weak latte.
    Hope this helps.
