    Playpen Recommendations??

I've been looking at the Jolly Kidz playpens and am considering purchasing one. Before I do, does anyone have any recommendations for me? Which playpen did you purchase and why?
I'm tossing up between the plain wooden square one, and the versatile bright coloured plastic one which is extendable. Obviously the wooden one would look more aesthetically pleasing in our home (kinda getting sick of the bright coloured baby gear everywhere!), but I'm thinking the plastic extendable will be more practical??

    Any thoughts??

    Ta!

Ok- so I've just found out that both are extendable- although I'm thinking plastic may be better for wiping down spills etc?

Anyone have a jolly kidz playpen....?

Sorry I don't have any advice but am interested in seeing any responses to your question. I am looking at play pens at the moment

I have the wooden one, I have bought extensions for it so it can be extra big which has been handy as DD got bigger. I didn't like the colours of the plastic one they are soo bright but the wood one just blends in. Its been easy to clean, DD never really made too much of a mess with the frame and we put a blanket down inside to catch crumbs if she ate a biscuit etc.

I used the wooden one. I got it at Target for about $100 and I did not regret it! Small to store, easy to move and it's wooden so goes with everything Even became a Xmas tree barrier one year lol

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for your replies. After looking at the area we intend to put the playpen, we've decided that the plain wooden one will definitely be more pleasing to the eye.....

Glad to know you have found it useful with no major compaints!! That's good enough for me....
I just found it online for only $69.00 at playpens direct- yay! (rec retail price is $115.00). The mattress that fits it is also on the same site for $35.00
