    What do you think of the name....

    Lincoln for a boy.

    I haven't decided on a girl's name yet. My daughter likes Emma

    I like uncommon names.

    I like it. It is unusual and I like that it could be shortened to Linc. Very cute.

    Yeah I liked how you can shorten it to Linc too. I first thought of it because of the brother in Prison Break (though I always thought Wentworth Miller was cuter hehe).

    No? Well I guess not everyone will like it. It might sound a bit American I guess.

    I like it! My fiance and I have picked out names already and have the stamp of approval from both sets of Grandparents (yay!). For a boy we have chosen Lachlan John, and for a girl Ella Rose. Common, popular names I know, but hey, they will be individuals I'm sure

    I have a couple of Lincoln's in my life & I think it's a nice name. Emma is lovely too but very popular if you are wanting an unusual name.

    Hehe that's where I got the name from. And then I thought, you don't hear that too often.

    Interestingly all my kids names, I think of tv/famous people;

    Yasmin (there was a Yasmin on "G.P" years ago, and ofcourse there is Yasmin le Bon (model) and Yasmine Bleeth (actress).

    Ronan (Keating...."When you say nothing at all"...was a big hit when I was pregnant with him).

    Laura (Ingels - I always related to "Little House on the Prairie" Laura) hehe

    Ofcourse now that I like the name Lincoln, the baby will probably be a girl hehe. I find out in the next week.
