Thoughts on Lou Lou...

DH and I have soooo much trouble agreeing on names! I like names that are a little different without being way out there. Agreeing on out daughters name was quite easy, but a middle name was never ending... We got there in the end.
Although we are not yet pregnant we will start trying for another bub in a few months time so we have been discussing names for a while now (as it will take a long time to agree!)

I have mentioned Lou Lou to him in the past and he has just laughed at me... The other day he comes to me and says "I really like Lou Lou for a girl".... Hmmmm well yes I do love Lou Lou, but since he has previously disliked it I crossed it off my list and decided that when I get my Boston Terrier pup that will be her name. So now I'm in a pickle!

Thoughts please.....
Do you think Lou Lou is too much of a little girl's name that it wouldn't really be good for when she grows up.... Is it better that I keep it for my pup??? I just dont know!

I love it!!!! But it is your decision in the end.
When she is older, she might just call herself Lou. I have a few friends called Louise and they shorten it to Lou.

To me, it does sound like a name that you would call a dog. How about Louise and call her Lulu as a nickname??

I would use it as a nickname and have a name like

Lucy
Louise
Louisa
Elouise

as her actual name - that way if she decides that it is too little girl for her she can change it herself.

I do like the spelling Lulu! Thaks for that ladies. And it is true she'd probably call herself Lu when she got older.
Megie - My step mother's name is Louise so its not a name I could use... I had thought of combining it with another name though, such as Louelle... Just don't really know if I like that or not! hahaha
