    Aqua Aerobics in Brisbane?

Hi. Does anyone know where there is aqua aerobics in Brisbane? Preferably for pregnant women, but if not, normal classes would be better than nothing. I am in Hamilton, near the airport.

    Thanks!

They do them at Albany Creek but not sure if they have specific pg ones. Have you checked with the hospital you are booked through? RWH had a few different ante-natal classes including pregnastics but not sure about aqua aerobics. But they still might know. I would check with their physio depart.

Yeah, chermside pool, nudgee college and earnshaw state college pool all have aqua, but none specific to pregnant ladies.

also the RWH has a free 4 week (I think) block that you can do.

None of the times suit me though as I work, and chermisde is really expensive, so i am sticking with boring walking.

    hope that's helped

    Hey,

Sorry to hear you've had no luck finding a suitable aqua aerobics class, and i agree walking is boring and aqua aerobics just reaps with benefits for the pregnant women.

I am actually a personal trainer and the aqua aerobics instructor for the pool at earnshaw state college. Although my classes are not specific to pregnancy.. I am more than happy to chat with my boss and i'm sure she will let me run an aqua class for pregnancy.. If enough people were interested..

Let me know what you think.. would be great to hear from you!

Also if anyone else would be intereseted in aqua aerobics, for pregnancy or just general weightloss and fitness, i will gladly give you more information if you email me on everfit_tash@live.com.au.

My classes run throughout the whole year, as our pool is heated they are cheap and have times to suit most people.
