Does anyone have any physical symptoms when they're ovulating?? I've only just started to get normal periods - not through doing anything special, they just seemed to correct themselves. However, right about the time I'm ovulating, I get REALLY dizzy, bad headaches/migraines, aching all over and very nauseous (sp) - does anyone else get this?
I'd love to know also if anyone has any suggestions for easing the symptoms - its hard to BD when I'm ovulating if I keep wanting the throw up on DH!
Poor You! That really sucks. The only time I've been nauseous around ovulation was when I was taking vitamin C for a cold at the same time.
I googled being nauseous at ovulation and found: "Occasionally, women undergoing fertility treatments or hormonal treatments are more susceptible to nausea during ovulation, as are women on other drugs such as anti-inflammatory medications or those taking large doses of vitamin C." If you're on any of these that could be the reason?
KTGirl - Thanks for the babydust, lets hope it worked!! Guess I'm in a TWW now!
Bonnie - No, I'm not on any kind of regular meds. I used to get this when my periods first started, so maybe its normal for me but I haven't had a normal period in so long, I'm not used to it!
Feeling a lot better today, it seems to only last one day. So I'm guessing that thats the day I ovulate...(TMI COMING UP!!!).............so look out for me in the Pregnancy Announcements in a coupla weeks hopefully!!!
Sorry hun no words of wisdom but pls know you are not alone. I hate ovulating. I get headaches, I ache all over (esp in my bottom and backs of my legs) and physically feel sick. Everyone thinks I'm mad when they ask whats up and i tell them I'm ovulating.
I "felt" the symptoms of ovulating...headachey, bloaty, cramps etc and said "I'm ovulating today or in the next few days"
The answer was "So we're going to make a baby then?"
"Yeah"
"Okay, why not?"
Had been off the pill the whole year in preperation for trying to get pregnant but even on the pill, knew when I ovulated even though I wasn't technically fertile.
Hi
I can relate!!! But I also get bad pain.
Try some Vitamin B6 at about 100mg.
I started B6 at that strength 2 months before I fell preg and at the begining of the pregnancy for morning sickness so it is safe for pregnancy.
Hope I have helped...
Take care
Chris

: to fix smiley
So, 10 days into my 2WW I've woken up with bad cramping, and a fair amount of bright red blood. I'm at work because I really don't know what I'd do at home anyway. The cramping really hurts, but I don't wanna take anything, I want to feel the pain. Does that make sense??
God, I just wanna go to sleep and not wake up
