    Grumpy Guts - why?

    Hi All,

Why is my DD such a grumpy guts? Most babies i know laugh so easily. She just doesnt even laugh, maybe once a day. Her smiles are rare too.

Why? My personality is bubbly and I laugh alot (usually im the only one laughing at my own jokes) but DD is soo cool.

Will she ever develop laughing alot or will this be a reflection on how she will be when she grows up?

    Thanks all!

Hmmm my DS was like that as a baby.. so we just made sure that all video footage was of him laughing hysterically. I used to ask DH if he thought something was wrong with DS because he just wasn't as happy as everyone else's baby that I saw. Always a grumpy grizzly guts.

But its just the way he is. He's 2 (tomorrow) and is still the same. But I can get a lot more giggles out of him now if I throw him onto the bed and tickle him like crazy

Sometimes we just have to go out of our way and FORCE them to giggle (even throwing them on the bed with a big Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!). Giggles help everything.
