We are going overseas to Greece in July and we need a stroller to take with us for our DD who will be almost 2 years old. Can anyone recommend a good stroller that isn't too pricey (upto about $200-ish) but will last through unsealed roads and dodgy footpaths? I am looking for one that will take a sun cover/ leg cover as it will be summer over there. Also one that isn't too heavy and collapses easily - I know all this sounds like a big ask (cheap, light AND sturdy!). Any recommendations would be very much appreciated!
Sorry I can't help but am interested to hear what other people suggest as we are heading to Hong Kong in April with an 18mth old.
I have been looking at the Quicksmart strollers. There are two types (backpack and foldaway). While its really compact I have read mixed reviews about the stability and reliability of the backpack version. Then I checked the other one but it weighs a bit more and is a bit bigger.... I was checking the airline onboard baggage restrictions and we may be able to squeeze this on the plane which would be handy cause then we would have the pram with us in the airport terminal and some websites are advertising it for less than $200.
Hopefully someone who has already been there and done that may be able to offer some good information??
If you can pick up a Maclaren on ebay I would strongly suggest it. They are a great stroller, fold up easily with one hand, light and easy to steer and you know that they won't fall apart on you. I have the Quest but one of them - I think the Techno comes with a shoulder carry strap and is only 5kgs.
