try going to babies down under web site and asking there they have great ideas etc there.
My BIL brought me back the most glorious rebozo from South America - so it's just a big 1m square or so of the most fabulously coloured strong woven cotton fabric. Normally it's worn with two knots, one under baby's bum and one on the shoulder. However, I have a shoulder injury that is aggravated by the knot, and I can't seem to find a way of tying it to avoid the pressure.
Does anyone have any hints on how I might sew on some rings or something to make it more user friendly, or convert it to a more "western" style sling?

If you tie it in a single slip knot (at corsage position), and make sure that the shoulder is well spread to avoid pressure points, that might help.
1m is short for a rebozo, normally they are about two metres. Do you tie it on the diagonal? It would be too short for a ring sling conversion or no sew ring sling unfortunately.
The link sweetpea was referring to is baby carriers downunder BTW.There is a google group which you can join and post questions to. I've never used a rebozo of that length so I don't have any specific advice other than trying a slip knot. I wear a two metre wrap piece that way and it is very comfy.
Also have a look at thebabywearer, in the wrapper's paradise section of the forum there are wrap tying tutes, including a bunch of rebozo ties.
yeah i was refering to baby carries down under, was feeding at time didn't re read post lol.
