Hi,
my bubs has dry skin on her face, she has had heat rash, her face does not look dry but to touch it, it feels rough. The nurse told me to not put anything on it. What do you do?
Could it be the start of some eczema? That is the perfect description of my DD's cheeks just as her eczema was starting to flare up.
I do moisturise my babies religiously but that is because it helps keep eczema at bay.
I would not use any commercial baby products on it. There is an excellent sorbolene called Hydraderm available from the chemists - it is a better quality formulation than ordinary sorbolene and this is what I used on DS...that and Aveeno moisturiser, which is excellent.
However I am on an organic kick at the moment and I am using Miessence on DD which feels and smells lovely and is keeping her nice and soft.
