    Smile Coffee Machine Reccomendations?

    Hi All,

I'm on the hunt for a coffee machine.......And need HELP!!! There is a sea of them out there and I have no idea what to look for as this will be my first one.

Basically I don't want something that is huge, I need it to sit on the kitchen bench, DH wants a button for hot Choccies or a least the ability to be able to make one. Not fussed on which brand, Budget is not Huge so a couple of hundred would be my limt.

    Any suggestions????

    Hi Bronzdbebe

I am assuming you mean an espresso coffee machine (I can't help with filter or percolator types as we only have espresso). We have a Sunbeam. It is really good and makes a great coffee. DH's whole family are fans and all have the same make. The reality is that they all eventaully need a service, but Sunbeam seems to be much more reliable than some others. It is not the cheapest, but certainly nowhere near as expensive as some of them! Perhaps have a look at their website. Have fun x

cant help much cos i dont have one yet.... but

my gf has one that takes little capsule type thingies of concentrated coffee and the machine is like a "press one button and theres your coffee". It makes perfect coffee EVERYtime. I think she got it at retravision. you can buy the capsules in all different flavours. and they always taste the same each time you make it.

I have had coffee from machines where you put in the ground coffee then the water goes through it etc... and they havent been very nice. You dont consistently get a good, hot coffee... its all in the technique. And they are a lot harder to clean too from what ive heard!
