    Morning sickness coming and going.....

    Hi girls,

I am 8 weeks pregnant with no 2. I have been experiencing ms (all day) for about 2-3 weeks. Anyway, the last few days it has settled down a bit. Still feeling a little nauseas in the afternoons but no where as bad as it has been. Is is normal for ms to be awful one day and then better the next?

It is wierd cause when I am sick I want it to stop, and when I am not I worry that something is wrong!

The joys of the first trimester.....

    Hi firstbub,

Mine was very on and off, and mostly at night. Mornings were the best time of the day I was having a couple of good days, then some more bad days and I'm still getting the occasional sick feeling even now at 18 weeks. It has also been very different to how I felt with my DD (constant nausea until 14 wks) and with my miscarriage (hardly any MS and what little there was was gone by 9 wks). I understand the worry! The first tri after a miscarriage is no fun

    Good luck!

    Hi firstbub

I think it is very normal for ms to come and go. I had in constantly and badly until around week 10. From week 10 to 12 it was marginally better and from week 12 I was pretty sure I was over it (would have nausea spells, but nothing crazy like what I had).

I am now 16 weeks and have had really bad ms just this week (throwing up, the works). It seems to be blowing over, but it just goes to show how erratic it can be.

I wouldn't be worried if I were you - after all, you are still experiencing some nausea. Just be glad it isn't as awful as it was before. x
