I've fallen in love with this pram and want as much feedback (positive and negative welcome!) before I make the purchase this week - it's on sale.
The shopping basket is the only complaint I have after giving it a good test run today. The basket is a lot smaller than on other prams but it has so many other amazing features that we're not fussed about the basket.
I too am really interested to know any feedback. I've ordered one but am stressing over it!! I was wondering about the toddler seat, anyone used this, is it sturdy, high risk of tipping, easy to steer with toddler on??? I also thought the basket was very small and difficult to get to..ahh to find the perfect pram!!! HELP!!!
nellsbells - I found some good info on the net. Enter the pram name into the search field on the 'Product Review' website (Australian site) and also have a look at 'jogging stroller dot com'
Thanks Taurean will have a look shortly, do I search 'product review' on google? I'm doing my head in with this pram business i think i'm worrying about too many factors, AND pregnant women should not be allowed to make major decisions!!
He he! Agree! Just type in product review dot com dot au - then use the search engine.
I've come to the conclusion (although everyone had been telling me so already) that no pram is perfect. Maybe a woman should look at inventing a pram. Hey, I'm onto something here!!
We were looking very seriously at the P&T Sport as well, which is cheaper, granted, but the Elite really is winning me over. There are feature of the P&T which I would prefer (like thr canvas material instead of nylon on the Elite) and it's about 4cm narrower (I think) but the Elite has so many other features that I can't complain. The one thing I really love about the Elite compared to the P&T is the ventilation at the back (when lying flat) and there is the easy to use flap that covers the ventilation when required. The P&T has a cover but it's not as convenient and is very open when the cover isn't on.
Also, I think it was just coincidence but I couldn't even remove the toddler seat from the P&T today yet the Elite was simple. As I said, pure conincidence I think as I've seen others do it relatively easily but hey, it scored the Elite another point from me. Oh, and one last thing, the break on the Elite is super easy to use too! I've found so many of the other prams breaks very difficult to engage.
I have the babyjogger performance (the one with 20inch wheels). This company make robust, comfortable buggies. My only comment would be that the city series aren't designed with actual jogging in mind, so if you're wanting to run with bubs then the performance is probably a better bet. I've run 700kms behind mine!
I loved this stroller too, but if you are planning on having a second child the toddler seat only carries 15Kg, although thats not untill 33months for the average on the weight charts, in our case our son has hit that at 21 months. So unforutnately for us its out, but I hope its ideal for you all
