    Question Stuck for girls names

Ok so we've pretty much decided on a boys name
Isaac Neil (DP & FIL's middle name so decided to follow on with the tradition) last name will be Weston. WDYT??

We are really stuck for girls names though. We just can't agree. The only name we really agree on is
    Annika.

Aside from the fact that it doesn't sound quite right with Weston (although after saying it a few times it starts to) and it's also the name of a "sort of" friend's 3 yo DSD. Is it ok to use it? or would it be classified as stealing it or copying?

What other girls names can you suggest?

Its not stealing unless the name is subject to copyright

I'd use it if its the only one you guys agree on.

Or you can steal Miss M's name - I don't mind

I think Annika's a lovely name. I'm sure the people you'll be 'stealing' from 'stole' it from someone before them.

I think it's a gorgeous name and don't worry about the 'stealing' thing - that's common with babies names

Here are a few off our list if you're interested:

    Isobel (currently our number one)
    Imogen
    Claudia
    Ava
    Olivia
    Sophie
Jazlyn (this is another one of my faves)
    Paige
    Dakota
    Addison
    Laylah

I love Willow but it doesn't go with our surname at all - such a cute name though!

I think Annika Weston sounds just fine. Don't worry about the stealing if they're already only a "sort of" friend.

hmm, she used to be a close friend and now I dont really talk to her. But she is on my facebook and I dont want her to think I'm copying her. Then again maybe I should just use it and if she complains I'll tell her to shove it. lol.

Taurean - I love quite a few of those names it's my partner thats the problem. Dakota was on our list though.

Arimeh - What's Miss M's name? I'm sure you've mentioned it but I can't for the life of me remember.

There are heaps of ways to spell Annika. Have you considered the traditional Anike/Aneke?

Other variations (all pronounced the same as Annika)

Anechka, Anica, Anichka, Anicka, Anika, Anneka, Anneke, Annika, Annike, Annikka, Annikke, Annukka (got these off the web)

I like Anika and I think it goes nicely with your surname.
I like it spelled Anneke, but your spelling would be easier for the average person to pronounce

    Names

Issac is a great name. And Annika is pretty - although I would ditch the double n - and just spell it Anika. Don't worry about your sort-of friend- the chances are her daughter will meet other girls with her name at school etc anyway.

    Some other unique 'A' name suggestions from my girl list (its much longer when you take into account the other letters!!) ;

    Akeiba (A-key-ba)
    Akaisha
    Alkaia (Al-kay-a)
    Amelie
    Averlie
    Avelyn/Avalyn

    Aramei/Aremai
