Angelcare Sound & Movement Monitor Digital & Rechargeable

Just wondering what everyone thinks of these. We were planning on putting bubs straight into a cot, with one of those snuggle beds (although am thinking bassinet lately lol) and I think that they would be great peace of mind. Would love to hear some feedback before i go and spend the $$ on one. Normally around $300 but have found one on special for $225

We have 1 and love it. Dont tend to use handsets now as DS bigger but still use base station for movement. Dont use handsets as at night he often wakes grizzles and settles again and i was hearing it all, without i hear when he grizzles more than will settle IYKWIM. Love using it if we have hallway door **** in evening and cant hear him.

So reassuring to have movement sensor.

    Hi,
We had one for DS and now are using one for DD. They are great. Expensive but the peace of mind is well worth the money!

yep i am a fan... def worth it for the peace of mind...
i had afew false alarms - so watch out for them, it freaks you out every time.
i still use it now, DS will move intoa bed soon and i am dreading turning off the sensors.
btw i also thought i would go straight to cot bit ended up with a moses basket as i did want him in our room and he looked SO TINY when he was born.

Thanks for your replies ladies. I feel more relaxed about buying one now. I've heard so many people say they're just a gadget, money making gimic etc etc. I think I also worry if I'm really tired would I sleep through bubs crying in another room, but this way - there is no chance I'm off to buy one!!
