    Imogen for a name?

Found out on Friday we are having a girl. We had previously thought about Emily, but a close relative has an Amelie and it is too close to use it (and also very popular atm).

Both DH and I like the name Imogen but the few times we have mentioned it we haven't got very positive reactions.

What is your reaction to the name? Do you have any alternatives that aren't in the top 10 names at the moment, but are still classic/traditional.

I love that name and would love to have a daughter called Imogen as well, but I can't because of my last name. (think a celebraty whose name is Imogen and that's why we can't call any of our kids that). But I think you should go for it.
