Best flats fold for boy...11 months old??

I suppose the title says it all, lol.
I have googled and found a few different folds....what is your favourite??

I have tried the butterfly/orgami...seems to be a bit small.
The traditional kite fold doesnt seem to be very absorbent.

Some of the folds out there, wow, I think you'd have to be an origami expert to do them, LOL

I do the pad fold still with DS.

DId you google the nappy lady uk? She has folds on her website - thats where I got the pad fold from. NIce and absorbent with extra material in the guts of it.

I tried to look at the nappy lady but all the links were broken and not comming up (all errors) I do the kite for day time if i need more padding i either double up so 2 flats thick and fold in a kite this can be very bulky but ok for night cos DD is zonked out and hardly moves or i just cut one and overlocked it to make boosters... LOL. Waiting on my Maz Night nappy and if i could make up my mind on pappies i would have more... taking the plunge soon and just doing it thanks fo Krudd money

You can also add a booster to a flat if you looking to add absorbency.

If you can check the links on the nappy lady site, I use the Gaynor fold if I can be bothered. It's a bit tricky, but easy to put on without half the nappy hanging down DS's legs. Or the pad fold. No pins or snappis needed.

I think I do the same one Arimeh is talking about.
Padding right down the middle in a triangle. Just fits on Jesse still.
