    Any ideas on names that can be shortened

    Hi i need some help on names that are long but can be shortened.
    Like Pierson can be shortened to Piers which is lovely but i need more ideas??????????????????
    BoyS or girls it doesn't matter

    I replied to your post then lost it!

    It's hard to narrow down a list from what you have described, but I thought I'd throw a couple at you

    Boys - Jacob (shortened to Jake) or William (shortened to Will, Bill or Billy)

    Girls - Elizabeth (shortened to Beth, Liz or Lizzie) or Catherine (shortened to Cath or Cathy or Kate)

    We have an Alexandria (Ally) and Imogen (Immy)
    Most names can be shortened to something.

    i could go on fo days. I agree that most names can and will be shortened

    Why don't you work the other way around? Find a short name you like and then figure out a longer version of it?

    I know just about every name can be shortened but i was kind of looking for a name within a name if that makes sence at all.hehe

    Er, my personal fave ... Cameron = Cam (or in our case, Cammie!)
