I have a theory, not proven or backed up with statistics, that bubs who are cloth bummed train easier because they have the feeling of wetness moreso than sposie bubs where the wetness is locked away.
What do you think?
PS I personally think 'pull ups' are a huge waste of money and that training pants are the way to go.

DD1 was datime TTed well before 2.5. DD2 is becoming more aware but not ready to start training yet. I think they do know a bit more with cloth, and there have been studies done in the past.
I read something about this recently too - because they feel the wetness they make the connection earlier. But surely it would also depend on the child in general. Some kids never complain about wet nappies, but others do. My son was in cloth and toilet trained at night at age 2, and then consistently in the day about 2 months later. It was a bit of a surprise!
I'll be able to share from personal experience soon enough
My fully sposie wearing boy TT'd himself at around 2.5. (The older one was 3.5 but that was due to Aspergers) My fully cloth wearing boy is showing signs ATM but the stubborn streak he has is holding him back
