Talking My Stash of Itti Bitti's arrived!!! Drying question :)

My bakers dozen arrived this afternoon

We have wet and cold weather here for the rest of the week so they probably won't dry very quickly outside and I want to use them ASAP as they are much better fit than our Pea Pods and the one IB we have is a small and DD's bum is too big now

I was going to wash ad dry 2-3 times before using them to get the absorbancy up a bit first, and they say they can go in the dryer on a low setting, and I was thinking of doing a couple of runs tonight with the Washing machine then dryer.

Did anyone else do this or is line drying recommended the first time?

Or does it not matter @ all

    TIA!!
    xxoo

I just use the dryer in the wet weather , and thats not all the time up here ... so every now and then is fine

i ran mine through the dryer and they've come out fine after prewashing

i would think you could possibly dry the outer on the clothes airer and run the boosters through the dryer if they're snap in's rather than sewn in's - i've done this to make sure the outers don't go through the dryer too often...

Thanks BG, they are sewn-ins, I don't want to put them through the dryer too often, but we are also moving this week so we will have heaps more room to hand then up inside and get them to dry etc.

    Yay I am sooo excited

You probably won't need to run ittis through the dryer! Ours usually dry overnight on the clotheshore.
If they're not dry then they only need about 1/2 hour on low setting to finish them off.
