    Chiro to turn breech baby

Just would like to hear from people that have used a chiro (Webster technique) to get a breech baby to turn. Was it successful and how long did it take for baby to turn? Also at how many weeks did you start ie. I was 31 weeks when I had my first app.

I didn't use a chrio. I had a physio massage in which she work out knots in my bum/pelvis/back area. It actually hurt while she did it and i felt internally bruised on my sides for a few days.

The baby took about 4 days to turn following my massage. I had noticed it previously seemed to get stuck 1/2way and turn back. This time it slowly moved around over the course of a few days.

    Bridee,
If your bub is still breech, please don't panic. Enjoy your baby while its still in your tummy. I had an elective CS because of JD's size compared to me and I loved it, it was stress free and exciting. So if you have to go CS please don't be hard on yourself, if its meant to be that way then all will be fine. Yes a natural birth is the ideal goal but bringing you sweet baby into the world as stress free as possible has got to be a higher priority so breath slow and calm and let your baby know that all is well and you can't wait to meet him or her regardless of how it enters the world as long as it is safest for him or her. You are a great mum already! CONGRATULATIONS!

yep I found a chiro who specialised in it and started at 28wks ( I had some other problems to work on anyway) Bub turned from breech to nead down by about 34wks and then she worked on the posterior presentation. She was brilliant and bub turned beautifully. Good luck

You can also do acupuncture, we do breech presentation at BB, through acu and moxa.

My DD was breech and delivered by c/sec and I am absolutely fine if that is what has to happen but I would really like to experience a natural birth hence trying chiro.

I tried everything with my DD, chiro from about 26 weeks. Nothing worked, apparently there wasnt alot of fluid around her so manual turning wasnt an option either. From what I read on manual turning I wasn't interested in trying that option anyway...
I agree with everything puppies said too, especially 'bringing you sweet baby into the world as stress free as possible has got to be a higher priority' that was my goal and thanks to lots of advice and support from everyone here, DD's arrival was still one of the best moments of my life

I think there is also consideration for the obstetric epidemic. failure to wait. I have told this story alot... but I was born 9 days post dates. I was breech until 8 days post dates... so I turned head down the day before I was born. Now if I were to be born in this day, I would have been sectioned at 38 weeks. Work out how many days that is before I was ready... over 3 weeks of growing, developing and readiness.

Who knows, could have had problems breathing or other complications from the ceaser, because there was no option to trust the body and baby or no skills bothered to be taught anymore. Why bother learning...... tools can fix everything.
