    Fundal Height?

    Hi everyone,
Just curious - If you remember, how many weeks were you when you could feel your uterus externally? I am currently 11 weeks with my 3rd and cant feel anything....

    Hi Ubba!

With DD, I could feel my uterus really early on, just felt like another pubic bone under my pubic bone IYKWIM??!! That was at about 4-5 weeks..
With this one I can't feel a thing!! I was going to ask the Dr next visit because, of course, I have started to worry about it!!!

But it sounds as if it is completely normal from what other people are saying!!!

    See you in Buddies x

at 20 weeks it should be navel height, starting from the belly button measure down by 1 finger width , this equates to one week,so count down 9 finger widths, should give a rough guide as to where top of fundas is

21 weeks was the first time for me - that was tonight! Our neighbour (one of my good friends) is a nurse and currently studying midwifery and she was checking me out for a suspected UTI. She said my fundus was quite hard to find but when she did, she said it's about 1cm above my belly button - bang on for my dates

Thank you everyone for your replies. I guess as my scan date gets closer (14th May) I am starting to have doubts and getting scared that there will be no heartbeat like last time. I am just looking for obvious proof that I am still pregnant. As if the morning sickness isnt enough....

Awwww hun... I am sure everything is ok. They couldn't feel my fundus till I was about 15 weeks... Then it isn't an exact science - they can be sneaky buggers! Keep me posted - you know you can talk to me anytime... BIG HUGS!
