Past couple of weeks Ava has had this bumpy rash, not noticeable unless you run your hand over it, or look close. It's only on her tummy/chest/back and a tiny bit on her face. When we took her to the doctor about 2 weeks ago she said it looked like a mix between a heat rash and the start of a viral infection. Then the next day it was gone/barely noticeable. Past couple of days its flared up again (i dont think it's a viral infection other wise she'd be sick kwim?) Just wondering if any of you know what it could be. I haven't changed the washing powder. But I was thinking maybe change of whether? Or maybe it really is a heat rash, she's like a little hot waater bottle at night time lol
it can be a yeast infection in the skin. Try putting some canasten cream on it. it will clear up within 10 days if it is.
If not.. try using soap free bath and moisterizers etc. Even if she hasnt been sensitive in the past, she might be now. Tho this rash usually appears more dry than bumpy.
If it is a heat rash, try and make sure she goes to bed in 100% cotton and the same with her bedding. It will allow the skin to breath more.
