I had a tubal ligation in 2002 and due to pain and heavy periods had a mirena put in last year. This eased my pain but after 12 months of getting my period every 2-3 wks plus breakthrough bleeding, i was sick of it, so I had the mirena removed about 5-6 weeks ago.

The thing is my last period is over 8 weeks ago!!!! I know my chances of being pregnant are slim due to ligation but have done 2 tests anyway and of course they were BFN.

So does anyone have any idea why my period has disappeared or had this experience themselves?
