mine is up for today too :) and im checking your pics every day and there all awsom ..my blogging part gets a bit much so i think sometimes with the blog bit and every day with a photo.

I am finding that I am really getting to know my camera and refining my skills as I go, but my motivation is recording a year of my DS's toddlerhood. I thought I'd soon run out of subjects to shoot, especially on the days I work - eg how exciting can the daily routine be?? But then my toddler taught me that he learns something new everyday or makes an exciting discovery - so the added bonus to this project has been to teach me the wonder of a toddlers world and not get caught in the daily drag IYKWIM :)
For those who are struggling with GIMP or any other photo editing software for that matter, when I am having trouble getting photoshop to do something I can usually find a tutorial video on You Tube to show me what to do, might be helpful if you seach You Tube perhaps (I find it much easier than trying to decode written instructions hehehehhe)

I was going to start my own theme thingo this week, probably a colour or something like that, but I only had about 10mins spare to get an actual photo so I just went with anything. Lol. I might do an outdoor-sy ( That's a word, right? :p ) theme depending on how I feel tomorrow.

I got a nice picture of the sky, was thinking if i had some way of getting a good pic of DD1's fake diamond paperweights and cutting them then putting the diamonds in the sky ?????

My pics are up for the last 2 days, not feeling inspired at all :( BUT today i am off for some newborn cuddles after DD2 gets her needles, have charged the camera and am willing to stop on the drive there and back if i find that perfect picture.. no DP, overcast cloudy day... hmm is there magic in the air :rofl:

i have to get todays and yesterdays, there was a heap of cokcledoodeldoo's (what seth has called cokatoo's) over the back fence eating apricots(?not good with fruit, think that was them) yesterday, but each time i went to get a shot, milo would jump and drool on me, or bark at them.. so i gave up!

Girls i think my camera battery is stuffed, put it on charge this morn, came down and DD1 had taken it out of the charger, took it with me to my friends and now when i put it in to charge the light is flashing not solid and when i put it into the camera it doesn't turn on... wouldn't upset me so much if the camera on my phone wasn't playing up too :wall:
Damn damn damn.
Will e-mail DP's cousin if i can't get it working and ask for 2 batteries (1 spare & 1 replacement) and might need to get a new charger... :wall:
:( bugger ZF!! Though its not a good enough excuse for a new camera is it?? ;)
Haha i wish, at the moment DP hasn't been paid so were lucky to get food on the table let alone a camera... m,aybe one day, his cousin owns a battery shop though so hopefully i can replace the battery with little to no charge :p:
