today's photo was really boring, have minimal motivation, in the final stages of moving with furniture being delivered and should all be done by the end of the week. I went for a walk for brunch and a coffee today and just in my street alone I found some amazing things to photograph, the buildings are just incredible, I can't wait for the leaves to change colour and drop. Next week when I feel human again I might just take a walk down my street and take photos.
It does make me want to get a better camera, but right now that isn't a priority.

LOL Barney, hubby has been trying to convince me to remove a few things off the auction saying he'll just give me the money & noone will ever know. My spare room is stacked with all sorts of goodies at the moment!

Not sure I'm going to get a photo today... DD has a temp of 38.5 which isn't coming down with panadol and keeps waking up every 20 min or so.... I think it's going to be a long night. I took some pictures earlier today but so far haven't managed to get to the computer for longer than a couple of minutes to download them.

Barney Jersey is in the UK...but it is one of the Channel Islands, so it's actually closer to France than England....and it's Freezing!
It's going well here, we looked at two houses....both of which will take Charlie (my dog)...so getting excited we are getting closer to being settled. It's freezing cold. Had to go out and buy warm things as I didn't have enough for myself, DS or DD! That's what happens when you live in Singapore and then WA for so long! It's raining at the moment too :( BUT this place is totally beautiful! cute little lanes, open spaces, the beach (the tide is cool to watch!) castles, and lighthouses. They also have woods to explore, and rock pools. Can't wait for the weather to get warmer, I could get some seriously good pics here!

Jewel, the WWYD2 project is a bit of fun. I used picnik for the edits I did.
I wasn't sure how that browse and pick thing worked. I'll have to have a better look into it.:
What is the wwyd? I've seen it as the title of quite a few pics on 365.
Basically the original poster has a photo that they ask 'what would you do' and you edit it and then save it in an unused date (or today's date if you want) and then TAG the wwyd2 and ppl see how YOU would edit it. does that make sense:
So I gave the WWYD2 a go. Just uploaded todays and WWYD2 just now.
I feel so lacking in motivation lately. The end of the school holidays makes me feel so ratty and worn out. Lol.
ETA: I named my photo WWYD2, and added a tag wwyd2 aswell. But when I search for it my photo doesn't come up with the others. Does this happen when you ladies search?
ZF - I've done the browse & pick a few times. The critique game is also good, the one where you critique the latest photo of the previous poster, then the next person critiques yours.
I don't think I'm going to have a go of the WWYD. I'm not really into heavy processing which by looking at the finalists of last weeks, this competition seems to be about. Anyway, I don't like the idea of posting someone elses photo as my photo of the day, even if its for a competition.
Ooh, I've missed all that so far. I'll have to have a look... DH will be delighted :rofl:

Well I've done my effort of "you" (not that I called it that). Was unintentional but in the end was the photo that "captured" today for me.
I'm intrigued by the WWYD pics, but dont' have time to attempt it. Would love to have a play when things settle down later on.

EDIT: after saying I wouldn't do WWYD... I did. I actually put it on the screen and took photos of the screen! Kinda silly & fun but got some cool effects tehehe. Don't think that's what normal post-processing is supposed to be lol

I am actually finding my camera phone not as bad as i thought it would be, not the clearest pics but not horrible quality, am fiddling with editing but REALLY need to figure out a few tricks, want to try the b&w with color pics in GIMP just not sure where to start :)
