I finally got mine uploaded. I had tv shows to watch and all that jazz. :p
Here's yesterdays and todays efforts.
Bec - you always have awesome angles
Boomba - Following you too. :)
BG - That's such a cute photo! Have a safe trip.
Naomi - Good idea with a list for inspiration. I don't think I'd ever have enough ideas for a list. I'm finding I'm getting stuck alot the past couple of weeks and it's only Feb. Hahah.
Swoop - I really like your tap photo. The antique look turned out fab!
Belfie - Your photos of your kids are so gorgeous. My ratbags never stay still long enough. :p Hope your DS is okay now. Enjoy the vodka!
ZF -
I've been wondering that too. :dunno::
I am trying to think outside the box and not just get pics of the kids, flowers and my view but i find it hard.. HOW on earth do you ladies get something so totally random and make it so gorgeous???? HOW HOW HOW?
Belfie - if that wasn't the hilarious post, the lost one must have been pretty damn funny. But you make me want vodka now. No fair. :p One day, I will have a child that doesn't feed randomly throughout the night (like now). And BTW, your little miss is squishably lovely.
ZF - a good way of practising is to find a random object and stick your camera in front of it. Take a photo. Look at it critically from the following criteria - composition (I break this up into two components - angle of the subject in relation to the lens, and the positioning of the subject within the frame and the environment), lighting (exposure and interplay between highlights, midtones and shadows), depth of field and focal point/s, colour, composition of background (is it complementary to the subject or does it distract from it), balance between subject and background. Take lots of different photos of the same object paying attention to each of the criteria. Experiment and see what works. Change angles and lighting. Take the shot from close up, and from far away. Look at other photos that you like and see what techniques the photographer has used - see if you can replicate those techniques. You take some lovely intuitive shots, btw.
Going to bed now... Miss Miss is back asleep.
Thank you, i'm just feeling a bit blergh about it at the moment.. i didn't realise i had so many followers
Thank you for all the information and the comment.
I will give it a shot, can someone pick a random house object and i will TRY this week and get something.. if anyone else wants to give it a go too.. for inspiration and something different.
I am also going to give editing the new WWYD a shot, have some ideas already.. just have to work out HOW to do them in GIMP.
Also does anyone know if there is a way of transferring a pic FROM my COMPUTER over TO my iPhone?
Yup, in iTunes settings when you sync ypur iPhone with your PC, you can select a folder on your PC of pics that you want synced FROM the PC TO the iPhone. Just don't make it a folder that contains too much stuff or it won't fit. Hope that make sense.
Suse - aah that's tough with the unpredictability. I was so nervous that she'd wake the when I first had a glass of something but I'm lucky with the night sleeps at present. Clearly I'll have to have your vodka for you.... ;)
Ohhh so i can put 1 pic in a folder on it's own and just transfer that.. LEGEND.
hi girls, have been so busy lately with workmen and things breaking that i havent been around....
have uploaded the days i have missed (i think ) ;)
hi everyone, ive been on holidays so havnt been online, i took loads of photos so now im uploading them/spamming your pages lol
Hmmm, I've had 3919 hits on my 365 Blog
WOW!!
ETA - this is since I started so seeing I am at day 143, thats 27.4 hits per day!! (not all today hehehehe)
Back from the mini BB meet but didn't get any pics, too busy talking to PRMG and Emma09 but got THIS on the way home.
Every cloud has a silver lining :)
Will go through everyone's pics tonight, anyone got a 'household object' for me to photograph... as my own little test.. ohh and i got the battery for my cybershot today  so can alternate b/w that and my iPhone.. woo hoo!
MummyNaomi! Thats awesome!!!!
ZF I love that shot its gorgeous!
I am loving my piture today not very modest am I :P
Hey girls, I've been a bit slack with getting on the PC at night so I'm a few days behind with uploading. Got some pics waiting on my camera, if only the iPad had a USB connection! Will try and upload tonight. Am LOVING everyone's photos and welcome to the newbies! :)
Ugh, I've lost two posts replying to you about this now, damned iphone!! Very briefly coz DD wants her dinner so I need to get off the computer and feed her, but please stop beating yourself up about this, your pics are great :D And as far as an object, how about a theme - in your kitchen? That way you have the scope to choose something you have that's a bit quirky/old/interesting/unusual. If you get stuck, how about whisks, colanders or that type of thing?
Off to hunt for kitchen objects!!
well tonight I went out hunting for good pics, and then realised the one I liked best was the one taken during the course of the day... isn't it always the way??
EDIT: Suse, your pin is on new faces :)
LOL - ta for letting me know Belfie (and for having a vodka for me last night, what a considerate soul you are :p). That's the fourth image in a row of mine that has made it onto new faces. I think I am surely an old face by now but the magic photo monkey bots mustn't think so.
Still haven't taken something that does it for me yet - and I took my first shot at 5:00am (gah) when little Miss decided it was a good wakeup time. It's a full moon so if little monsters are asleep soon (I can hear DS 'chatting' so unlikely to be any time within the hour) I might see what I can get.
kitchen object will have to be tomorrow - spent way too much time in my study today getting the stuff done in there to venture into the kitchen before I uploaded a picture.
