Can anyone help me with Photoshop?

I took a beautiful photo of DS on the weekend, a lovely close up of his face which is so rare. But he has boogers hanging out of his little nose, and it completey ruins the photo

I have Photoshop Elements software at home and I've only had a basic play around with it. Can someone point me in the direction of the right tool I would use to remove said boogers from his beautiful nose! Any hints or tips would be great. I'm trying to find some online tutorials too.

FIRST, before you do anything, save a copy of the photo & work on the copy. You can always go back to the original & save a new copy if you mess it up.

The best one to use is the "spot healing" tool, it's usually fourth down on the left hand side on the panel, looks kinda like a band aid. Have it fairly small & just slowly click over the offending marks. Normally you can just make the pointer completely over the mark, like in the case of a pimple, but it's a bit harder because of the shadows & creases around the nose, so you need to go slowly.

Not sure whether elements has full functionality so it may not have this, but you want the clone tool. This allows you to select a part of the image and paste it elsewhere. Underneath noses can be a little tricky to clone out because they are in shadow, it's hard getting the shading to look natural, especially if the area you need to retouch is large.

Elements does have the clone tool and is what I was going to suggest.
