I went to a friends house last night. She's an artist and gave me a bit of a hand unleashing my dream of painting. I did an acrillic abstract (have posted a photo in my gallery). I wasn't sure if I liked it at first but it's growing on me, especially since my DH said he really likes it. I thought he would hate it but he doesn't and wants to put it up in the house where it can be seen. He's very encouraging in me doing more painting and said that each pay day I can get a little bit of stuff to build up my collection of equipment to paint. We are on a tight budget so I can only get a bit at a time. This week I got a set of brushes and a scraper all for $11.50. Next fortnight I'll probably either get an easle or some paint and a plastic sheet to put on the ground while I paint.
Your painting is fantastic. It is great that you have found something that you are passionate about and enjoy spending time doing. Can't wait to see more artworks
