Ok guys. Bri was due for her 4 year old (i think MMR) almost 2 years ago. Every time I had her booked in she got sick somehow, then started school, so haven't had the chance to get it done.
So, on the 29th I have an appointment with our gp for a diagnosis for Sensory Integration Disorder (Sensory Processing Disorder) & what I think may be, mild aspergers (but til there's a diagnosis, I really can't say that).
Would you get the MMR done while at this appointment, or, given the medical circumstances, & the link of the MMR & autism/spectrum disorders, would you not have it done at all.
I have no idea what to do, & I have no idea what my gp's advice will be. Would it matter now anyway? Since she already had the other 3 doses??
I personally (surprise surprise) would say "if in doubt follow your heart". Debates about whether or not vaccination CAUSES autism spectrum disorders aside, one thing that is scientifically proven is that autistic kids hold on to metals and don't excrete them the same as other children. In my mind, at the very least, vaccination MUST exasperate autism or other health problems in these children, and YES it will make a difference to get the MMR even though he's already had the other vaccines. Autism is about toxic load, it's biochemically based, and every new card makes the card house more unstable and closer to collapse.
Of the measles outbreak in San Diego in 2008, 90% of the kids who caught the disease were vaccinated against it despite the area having a vaccination rate of only 60%. There a similar stats for the 1500 cases of Mumps in New York in 2009. Those sort of REAL LIFE stats would make me inclined to believe the KNOWN risk for an autistic kid is not worth the maybe/maybe not benefits. You'll need to make the decision about what you can live with. Can you live with the fallout of the negative effects of the vaccine more than you can your child catching one of these usually NOT deadly diseases or vice versa? Your GP, unless pro-choice and have done their own research into the area (which is rare), will most probably follow the script they all follow, which is like asking a butcher why you should be vegan.
If you do decide to do it, please don't give her panadol. It stays in the liver for up to five years and also causes the body to hold on to metals because it effects CYP450 enzyme production and give her lots of epsom salt baths and probiotics.
Thankyou for that. Are there any sites you can recommend me to read info & stats. Me reading & forming my own oppinion is one thing, but I have a mother who's still trying to push me into having the kids vaxed against chicken pox is another. (She's also feeding DD3 solids behind my back etc )
Goodness, mum sounds she's being a bit of a pain in the backside regarding your parental choices. Good luck! I should also add high doses of vitamin C 24 hours prior to vaccination might also help if you find yourself down that path...
"Analyses of Toxic Metals and Essential Minerals in the Hair of Arizona Children with Autism and Associated Conditions, and Their Mothers" http://media.mercola.com/ImageServer...talsInHair.pdf Be aware that this says that autistic children have LESS metals in their hair, this is because it's in their brain instead!
