    Congenital Scoliosis - Advice?

    Hi there,

My daughter has just been diagnosed with congenital scoliosis, resulting from a hemi vertebra (according to the x rays).
I am just wanting to find out any other cases of congenital scoliosis. I am concerned about other anomolies that have been mentioned, although we have seen no signs of these with our daughter. She is a walking, talking 16 month old...
What evidence can been seen of other anomolies in these children (kidney, heart, spinal cord, etc)

    Thanks for your time,
    Emma

    Hi Stella's Mum,

I dont have any information on it but just wanted to give you

A good friend of mine has congenital scoliosis and she is the most friendliest nicest person is the world.

Her frame is small and she needs a breathing appartus at night and needs to do some sleep study once in a while as her breathing stops during the night but other than that she lives life like there are no challenges for her.
