Well turns out he has a new strain of Flu, but they usually take 5 days to get over and he has been febrile for 5 days, and his chest is not sounding good..

Took him back to the hospital today where a really great peadiatrician saw him, she saw that he was still breastfeeding and she told me "oh I'm sure you've been told this before but that's the best thing for him" I wanted to hug her..actually no I don't hear it at all I want to say, I said to her instead, I want to keep breastfeeding him asl ong as possible for the antibodies..and the comfort factor is always great..

Anyhow despite the FluVAC this "new strain" of flu has hit him hard, the pead asked what I'd like to do, I told her that if they weren't going to give him anything else I'd take him home again, she said i should bring him back in the morning to be reviewed again to make sure everything is not worsening..

Anyhow I am happy to keep him home, and he is just sleeping it all off, hopefully we've reached the wosrt of it all..

Thanks again for the thoughts everyone..
