Cool Another Cleft bubba for my area!!!

I got another call from our local hossy last week, we had another undiagnosed Cleft Palate bubba born!!

Mum was just a teenager, and had tried to b/feed all night with no success. A middie finally put her finger in bubbas mouth, to find a very large cleft palate.

They didn't have a single cleft bottle, and didn't know where to get one. So I go up to see mum, took all Kane's bottles for her, and show her how to steralise and use the bottle.

One middie was a real b!tch, and acted like I was intruding, even though THEY called ME!!!

Mum was scared, but seemed a lot better after I left!

While I was still there the b!tch middie tried to show her how to use the bottle, UPSIDE DOWN!!! She really tried to get me outta there.. but I had to laugh.....

While talking to mum, I said she could call me anytime, day or night, I know how she's feeling. Plus she is VERY young, and alone. The middie interupted me, and tapped the board, to a Cleft poster, and said she should call them people instead. I very nicely said, "Oh that is my son, Kane, and those are my phone numbers for you"....

Hahahahahaha, it was my cleft posters, with before and after shots of Kane on them!!!! The middie was dumbstruck, and quickly shut up!!!!

But alls well, ends well. Mum is doing great, and her little girl is thriving. And she didn't have to buy any very expensive bottles either, and I got to do something nice for someone indeed!!!

So Welcome Little Girl, to my little cleft group!!!!!!!

Congrats PB! pooey to the silly middie - I would have said "yes, do call "those people" - but why waste a phone call when "those people" are already here!"
