    Kids with hearing aids

    Has anyone's child got a hearing aid/aids ?

Kimberley has had hers for 10months now and at the moment she Is not wearing it as she is due to have another operation and the last infection caused a lot of damage to her ear.

    Hello there,
this may be a bit silly replying to your post from last year, but it seems no one else did, so I will at least drop in and join your club

My baby was diagnosed with profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss (aka deaf as a post) at birth. She is hopefully going to get a double cochlear implant at 6 1/2 months whuch is daunting but also super exciting.

Do you see any benefit in Kimberley's hearing aids? It would make it easier for me to keep them on for at least most of her waking hours if I thought it helped but it's a lot of work and frustration,,,all that whistling drives me half mental, but Jazz doesn't hear it.
