DS1 is going really well in Kindy, he has a full-time aide atm which might drop down to a part-time one next term. The current aide is being funded by the school privately, starting next term it will be funded by the government, so it will depend on how much they think he needs as to how much aide time he will get. I'm not overly fussed as hopefully he will have settled in enough to be comfortable with the teacher and other kids.
I filled out his developmental assessment last week and got the results yesterday, he has now been referred on to physio as he has developmental delays across all areas. Gross motor skills are not really an issue for him, but I'm happy to fit in a few appointments, never know they might be able to offer us something
He has regressed a little lately which we are contributing to the massive changes in his life this year. Starting Kindy (none of the day care kids are in his class), the storm, suddenly moving house (we moved our entire house in about 5 hours after we lost our roof lol) and then changes in routines.
He still hasn't cracked the 14kg mark, but oh so close! 100 grams! Maybe if he would sit still for long enough for the food to sit I could catch him at 14kg
Over-all he's doing very well, he's very happy and makes us all very proud. Not bad for a little boy who shouldn't be here at all
