I think, if im right, your DD is 8/9 months old. My dd always used to love pasta with peas and corn. Spaghetti was her fave for a while till she started whipping it round her head like a cowboy! lol
DD couldnt eat bread for ages so she would just have roasted or steamed veggies. grated cheese. cruskits were good with stuff on, avo, banana, humous etc.
Scrambled egg was and still is a big hit, but some say it should be left till after 1 as it is possible to have a reaction the the white.
    cottage cheese.

i used to make banana and strawberry pancakes and DD loved them. id slice the fruit in to little rounds, coast them in pancake mix and cook!!!
with the eggs, id cook it more like an omelette. in a small nonstick pan, cook a bit, fold in half so it sort of sticks together and is quite think. let it cool abit then slice it, easier for her to pick up.

    Charlotte loves Baked Beans lol

We also have scrambled eggs or fritatas, bubble and squeak from left over veg sometimes, I make small soups for her as well.
Pasta, risottos, cold meats and salads are all favourites too.

    Zuchinni Slice would be yummo!

I'm lazy, I always kept leftovers from our meals and that's what DD had for lunch! If I ran out I'd boil a potato and cut it into cubes. Or I'd do the same with other bits and pieces of vegies I had around (corn was a fave). Or she'd have a bit of whatever I was having.

Like you, I tried to stay away from bread, since she had toast in the morning. So cous-cous was an easy, quick alternative.
