i love Talia too
i think i chose DD's name in hospital (she was a 41 weeks and 5 days baby). Choosing a name didn't turn out to be the blissfully straightforward experience i expected, it was actually quite tricky. Kept finding too many names i loved. My final list was 29.
Oh my gosh Gigi at 29 names on your final list. Maybe I need to recruit you to find me a boys name, cos if this baby of mine is another boy well right now he has nothing.
I agree though, choosing a name is so much harder than you realise, you are giving a person a name for life, big big decision.

Sorry Megs, my list of 29, was all girl names. (thanks to amnio tester telling me the gender at 19 weeks, when i actually had requested NOT to be told). OTherwise, i would have had two long lists ready.
Thanks for all the helpful advice girls. We named our bub Ebony, went through our shortlist and she looked like an Ebony straight away, no other names suited her. We waited until she was 12 hours old to name her. Very happy with her name, really suits her, and Im glad the decision was easy!
