We really like this name but want an opinion

My husband and I quite like this this name for a girl and would like an opinion please.

    Grace Lexie

Our surname starts with an O and is 2 syllables.

    Thanks for your thoughts

I like it. I'd even do Lexie Grace but would probably drop the e off Lexie.
Have you noticed her initials will be GLO (glow).

Honestly? I don't think it flows that much - its sorta like it stops short with each of them.. like it needs another syllable...
    Maybe Grace Alexis?

I will keep the spelling of Lexie the way it is because it is the spelling of my nans name and my middle name. I do like your suggestion of swapping it around though. Ha ha - I did realise the initials would be GLO! At least it's not a nasty word

Wow, I always thought Lexie was a more recent name - didn't realise there were nans out there with that name!
I really like those names - I think I prefer them the other way round too, but either way it is very pretty

I thought the same thing, swap them around, it flows much better.

I love it as it is.
I dont think the first 2 names need to flow like that. I wish Charlottes didnt sometimes - her GM has a VERY annoying habit of calling her Charlotte Paige. IT ISNT HYPHENATED!! lol

The wont be used together really anyway, and when they are for the most part it will be written, not spoken.

Besides all that, I actually think it sounds lovely when it is said as a name and not as some playschool sing-song.

I like it swapped around. Flows much nicer and its a nice touch having Lexie after your Nan.

I agree with Mel - Lexie just doesn't seem complete.

    I like...

    Grace Alexis
    Grace Alexa

ETA: Just read your other post...

In that case I like Lexie Grace!

Yep I am agreeing with the Lexie Grace crowd - flows nicely. But the point is, she won't be called by both names very often, so which name do YOU prefer for the first name?

I like both names, but together I would swap them around to be Lexie Grace. I think it flows better. I think middle names shouldn't have more syll then first names. JMO of course
