Boys names

Hi
having alot of difficulty coming up with a boys name....we have a dozen girls names that we love...but boys names we just can't agree on!! Our surname makes it difficult, I think....Lava...not an easy one to match up with.

Names I like so far:
Raphael
Ethan
Joshua
Vegas.....husband hates this option...doesn't want his child named after Sin City!!!
Diego

any suggestions??

Las Vegas rocks...half the reason i came up with that name was because junior was conceived 2 days after i got back from a trip to Vegas...hubby must of missed me lots!!!

I really like Ethan and Joshua out of the names you have. But Joshua Lava runs a bit better than Ethan Lava.

Caleb/Kaleb Lava? That sounds okay? It is a difficult last name to match up with, but from the list you have, it's looking pretty good. :P

Vegas - uh noooo sorry that is a bit OTT for me. Not a fan of naming children after american cities...

you have such a cool last name though, you will need a strong name to carry it...probably one that doesnt end with an "ah" sound ...

Hiya, I love Ethan or Joshua (which is my sons name) they are names that suit babies and men.
Josh was Joshie as a bub and Josh now or if hes in trouble its JOSHUA! Good luck Cheers Missy

Raphael - I like it. Raph or Rafe are cute nicknames.
Ethan - Great name, strong and sounds fine with your last name
Joshua - Josh is classic and cute. I wouldn't use Joshua just Josh.

Diego - reminds me of dora's friend!

I think they do it on purpose so that they can suggest a normal name and we jump at it.

DHs boys name list for this baby, without a lie or exaggeration, went like this:

Hmmm which one would *you choose* lol?
Lucky for him Oscar was on my boys list already, but its not my favourite.

At least we agreed on a girls name very early on.

I am positive that DH is suggesting terrible names on purpose. So far I have gotten Trevor, Terrence, Roger, Steve, Shane, Kevin and Wayne. Then to follow it up he suggested Rio, Ferdinand and Fernando. I can place most of them as English Premier League players but I am still drawing a blank with a few.

I like Raphael. Ethan is very popular now, as is Joshua. Vegas and Diego are a bit much.

I like the names Corbin, Milton, Morgan and Rowan with Lava.

Raphael is a great choice. Love it. He will get Raph for short and I love it. It's also uncommon.
Joshua and Ethan are nice but very common. Sorry but I'm not into Diego (reminds me of Dora's cousin too) and I don't like Vegas...I like unusual names but not American ones, and when I think of Vegas I think of Elvis style weddings and gambling.
