    I don't know anyone by that name and my first thought was girl's name

    Girl for me, but I don't think it matters - I mean, unless they're a small baby, you might be correcting people on spelling or pronunciation, but hopefully your teenage daughter won't have to keep telling people 'uh I'm a girl'.

    I would pronounce is ree-gan. I love the look of it spelt with the 'ea'. Same as if I used Meagan I would spell it the same way.

    I think of it as a girls name. I really like Teagan which is similar. Names are fun.

    i like the name and if i was to use it i would use it for a girl... but also think it could be used for both, but girl more..
