    'Dull - see' would be my first thought but it could also be 'dul (rhymes with pull)- see'.

    Yeah, Dul-sie/cee. DD2 has a Dulcie in her class and it is said that way - same as all the other Dulcie's I have come across. What is the other way to say it?

    Ive heard Dool-see amd Dohl-see which is a bit odd. Just wanted an idea of what the overall pronounciation would be from people.

    Really? Its not a name I look at and think to pronounce it those ways. It seems like they are being creative with pronunciation?

    Thankyou Dianne, its a contender for this baby if its a girl. I like thats its a 'real' name but not used much anymore. Such a pretty name.

    I pronounce it as Dell-cee.

    I had a great aunty Dulcie and we pronounced it they way I mentioned.

    My Mum's Mum (my Nannie), was Dulcie, and it was always pronounced Dolsie

    I love it, its a gorgeous name, I'm hoping to use it for Number 3 (if I ever get number 3, let alone a girl!)
