    Nova

    Just a quick question

Would you name your daughter 'Nova', if your daughters godparents had a 'Stella' ???

Ummm Nova reminds me of the radio station, so for that reason alone I wouldn't have Nova. I really don't think it matter's what her godparents child is named, all that matter is you love it!

ohhhh I like it!! I think if you like it then go for it regardless. Its not as if the godparents have a "Super" (as in Super Nova). Stella and Nova go nicely together too.

I think thats kinda cute, having names with similar meanings!
Nova was on my list, just a shame about the radio station!

I was talking about the name Nova last night. A friend of mine has a sister with that name. I really like it.

Besides the reminder of the radio station i think as a name it could easily grow on me

Regardless of the Stella I wouldnt use it - not a fan - sorry!

I do think though that the Stella/Nova thing would be lost on most people, especially if they are not sisters or soemthing it wouldnt really be an issue because nobody would really associate the two

It actually make me think of the Olympian - Nova Peris-Kneebone - which is a good thing - she won medals in running AND hockey, so it's good namesake, IYKWIM. I really like it!
