Jett looks best as jett - the H is weird

Mason - maison reminds me of the non alcholic wine and mayson - if it was a girl maybe

    Definately Ava. Love that name.

I don't like Jaxon simply because a friend of mine called her dog Jaxon, spelt that way, so I'll always think of the dog.

    Jett - the h doesn't look right.

I like Maison with the i in it

I like Ava spelt like AVA.. probably because its a palendrome..

I do like Jackson spelt like Jackson, but also dont mind Jaxon. Kinda depends if you want his nickname to be Jax or Jack.

Jett.. i prefer Jett.. Jhette just doesnt look right to me.. kinda would make me think the name is actually "Ja-hettie" rather than a silent H.

Mason.. i like id leave as Mason also.. Mayson may get mispronounced as My Son if someone doesnt look properly iykwim.

    Spelling of Names

My nephew whos name is spelt Locklan instead of Lachlan hates it because everyone always spells his name wrong.
Just need to be prepared for everyone spelling it wrong all your life. Except close family that is.

    I prefer the normal spellings

Maison is french for house so you would be calling a kid House.

I like the following spelling :

Ava - I like this way but you don't so - Aiva
    Jackson - Jaxon
    Jett - I love Jhett
Mason - depends on the sex you are using it for I like the orginal for a boy and perhaps Maeson for a girl (mae for short)

    Just MHO
    Nae x

I am sure whatever you chose will be beautiful

I like Ava best- but I like Ayva best out of the others. What about Avaley/Avalie?
I like Jaxon- Jaxson is a bit much- 2 letters doing the same thing.
Jhett is fine- but i think the extra h could be confusing for a child (like explaining why knife starts with a 'k')
Mason I like for a boy- the other spellings look feminine to me, although the name reminds me of the Freemasons!

Sorry if this is not much help!

I would spell them Ava, Jackson, Jett, and Mason. Save your kid a lifetime of spelling his/her name out for everyone.

I'm glad I'm not the only person reminded of the freemasons! I had a teacher name her son Mason, and I thought it was so strange (I didn't know it was so trendy then).

I absolutely agree 100% with PinkPalace suggestions on every name there for the exact same reasons (oooh, how spooky is that )

My opinion is that you shouldn't mess with spelling of names too much, and the spellings you have listed are definately messed with! Love the names you have picked though, just like the original spelling though

I may be weird - but I understand where you're coming from - I like that some names are spelt differently to the norm...

    for me I like:

    Ayva or Ayvah
    Jaxxon or Jaxon
    Jhett
Mason - the only one I can't see any other way tho...

As a teacher I recommend you stick with the regular spelling or be prepared for a lifetime of misspelling and mispronunciation! (and the ensuing frustration) Also these different spellings are cute when they are little - but will they look good on a business card or name tag as an adult - or just strange? One of my friends changed to the reg spelling by deed poll another changed her name altogether so she would be taken seriously at work (VERY unusual name)

At school we cringe at getting the new lists of names - usually the strange names are the naughty ones (our Jaxon is one of the worst!)

Love the original spelling of these names though - esp Ava - gorgeous!

Good luck - in the end you and your partner are the ones who have to like the name!

Ditto everything CF just said- I am a teacher too and sadly half these kids with the weird spellings are the problem ones! Don't know why but ask any teacher.
