    Girls names - FREE TO A GOOD HOME ;)

    Hi girls, I thought I would share my short list of girls names with you now that I have had a little boy.

    Emelyn
    Tess
    Rose
    Margot
    Sadie
    Zoe
    Elisabeth
    Phoebe

    It got down to two names in the end. DS was either going to be Rose India or Margot Rose.

    Wow, Emelyn is such a pretty name!! I have never heard it before and you know what i'd love to use that name if i happen to have another girl.

    Oh when you're done sorting out Audax's DH, can you talk to mine? I adore the name Margot and he won't have a bar of it.

    (to the point where I've named my Kenwood mixer 'Margot' simply so I'll be able to use it )

    That's why I have a bike called Ramona. Sigh. Will never happen.

    DAISY! DS was going to be Daisy Or Heloise. I love Tess and Emelyn too. Might have to keep your list in mind when/if we go back for Ratbag #2.

    Maggie was our second choice for DD.

    I changed my name to Tess when I was four. For a year. It's written on all my artwork I do love Tessa, but doesn't seem to work here with our surname. It's a toughie.
