    Hi Hun,

A little girl I teach in my class is named Matilda and her whole family have names beginning with m.
    They are:
    Madeline (mum)
    Mark (dad)
    Molly
    Matilda
    Maggie
    Milly (cat)
    I think it is great.

Other names I like that start with m are:
    Morgan
    Mischa
Maia/ Mya/ Myah (depends how you want to spell it) - My favourite

LOL at the parents galah's name! that is funny. Its amazing how many names get taken by pets!

The Matilda in my class I always call Matilda as its such a pretty name but I know sometimes she gets called Tilly by her dad. Not sure if her mum likes it though!

Maia is a beautiful name and not overly common.

I'm into C names.. have a Cooper, will have a Carter, Charli or if we end up with twins (happened before but didn't stick) we will go with A... Maybe it's abit OC but im kinda keen on them each having 6 letters too!

How would you pronounce Maybelle? May-belle or Mable (like stable)? I like May-belle.

Mabel is pronounced like stable but Maybelle is pronounced like May-belle. Two seperate names but together IYKWIM. If you're concerned about it sounding too similar to Mabel then Maybella differenciates it a bit. Watch The Bridge to Terabithia and listen for the name.

Whatever you do, just don't name her Melina.. sounds nice - cute nick name with Lina as well - but if you research it as a medical term - it ain't nice!!! LOL

(And i can say that cos thats my real name... hence why I go with Mel...)

    M names

If you like Marley, how about the spelling Marlie, or Mahlie? I think it de-associates the name with Bob Marley.
    I LOVE Mahlia.
Or then there is Maely, Maelie, Maylie, or even Maelyn.
I also like the name Madeley - although I guess you couldn't have that because of the Maddie factor....
Myra and Maia are nice also.
Mmmmm- lots of nice M names....
