I heard the most beautiful baby name the other day...

It didn't hurt that the little girl was absolutely stunning, but i thought her name was so beautiful i had to share it for anyone struggling to find a slightly different, but gorgeous name:

    Mirabai (pronounced Mih-rah-bye)

I can't find anything on its meaning sorry, i think it has an Indian origination.

I am so tempted to have another baby just so i can use it! The first search i did came up saying a good sibling name is Maya, who i already have

LOL, don't you hate it when you hear the most 'perfect' name that you would love to have a bub called this, but you're not having anymore kids??

I like that name too, I think it's very, very pretty. I imagine a little girl with very black hair & heaps of it & the darkest of coffee bean eyes. Plus a very beautiful gold bangle on her wrist. lol

I have a secret name as well, which I won't share with anybody in the most stupid of selfish reasons & I'm almost tempted to get another puppy to just use the name! bahahaha

I think it's a beautiful name, but don't like the possible connotations of the meaning (taken from an indian website):

Arabic amr, from which comes the word amIr and its contracted form mIr, which was a fairly popular name for Indian Muslim males (Mir Qasam, etc.). The feminine form mIrA would be a purely local creation.

amIr means "noble, prince, lord, person of rank or distinction," etc. (Cf. Platts Classical Urdu dictionary).

The derivation of bAI as coming from bhavatI, the Sanskrit polite form of address to a woman. Unfortunately nowadays, the term is somewhat pejorative ("dancing girl, harlot"), especially as bAI-jI.

I think it sounds lovely, but would be put off by the connotations of 'working lady'
