    help with middle name

we are pretty sure we are gonna call the baby (if its a boy) jaxon (jax for short). for the middle name we are thinking of james or douglas. james is my dads middle name and douglas is my DHs middle name and that of his fathers first name. i like both but i am not that close to his dad so i dont think it would be appropriate to 'name him after' Dhs dad. having said that though, we wouldnt really be naming him after my dads middle name either its just that Jaxon james sounds good together. so i dont really know what to do?

what do you think sounds better, jaxon james or jaxon douglas? and do you have any insights into my little dilema?

I think Jaxon James sounds better. My cousin had a little boy not long ago and they named him Joseph Jaxon, they call him there little JJ for short. How cute is that. Good luck making a decision.

Why not use Jaxon James Douglas? I think that sounds great all together! But I am a fan of two middle names

well DD doesnt have 2 middle names... does that matter? shouldnt they have the same amount? yeah you can shorten it to JJ or JD depending on either way which are both cool too.

I like Jaxon James better. It sounds great!

With your dillema..I wouldnt worry about it although I do see where you are coming from. If we were having a boy, DP wanted to call it Michael as it has always been his fav namebecause of allt eh great sporting stars with a first name Michaal but its my dads name. I didnt want people thinking we were naming our child after my dad so I sadi if its a boy we can have it as a middle name.

DS only has 1 middle name, but if this bub is a boy, he is going to have 2 because it will sound better with our surname.

If bub is a girl wil only have 1
